Things I’ve Learned. Or have I?

I came across a poem of sorts that I wrote in 2005. I don’t know if I’ve learned any of the lessons 15 yrs later. Here goes.

Things I’ve Learned

Love is great when you find the right person

Friends are crazy sometimes, and if you were meant to be things will work out. Just be there for them as much as you can.

School sucks, but it will be over soon enough.

Then your life can take flight.

Family is important, but one person or even two can only do so much to keep things normal.

Above all embrace life like this may be the last day you will be around.
